Uplist, a homebuyer intelligence platform that provides mortgage payment options on property listings, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Arcasa to add a zero-down payment assistance option to Uplist’s listing tools.

The integration allows homebuyers to view an Arcasa financing scenario when they scan a listing’s QR code or open a personalized shopping link from a loan officer.

The option combines down payment assistance and solar financing into a single Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loan and displays estimated monthly utility savings associated with the solar system.

Uplist said the integration is designed to give buyers another way to evaluate affordability before connecting with a loan officer.

Buyers can compare the Arcasa option with standard financing without creating an account, providing a Social Security number or triggering a credit pull.

Under the program, the down payment assistance has no income limits or first-time homebuyer requirement, according to the companies.

The assistance also does not carry a separate monthly payment or increase the mortgage rate, and borrowers do not receive a 1099 for the assistance, Arcasa said.

“Adding Arcasa means the answer to ‘can I even afford this?’ can now be yes for a lot more buyers, with a real, zero-down number they can see for themselves,” Jeff Bell, president of Uplist, said in a statement.

Cole Bestgen, CEO of Arcasa, said the company’s down payment assistance program is designed to address the cash required to purchase a home and uses solar financing as part of the structure.

When a buyer scans a listing flyer’s QR code or opens a personalized link from a loan officer, Uplist displays mortgage payment options based on the lender and scenario selected.

Uplist then accesses Arcasa’s estimate engine to calculate the available down payment assistance and solar financing amounts, along with estimated monthly utility savings.

The platform presents the resulting zero-down option alongside standard financing, allowing buyers to compare estimated monthly payments and other costs.

Buyers who want to proceed can then connect with the loan officer.

The integration is available to loan officers using Uplist and is offered in 46 states.

It is not currently available in New York, Hawaii, Alaska or West Virginia.
